The Pennsylvania Cheese Guild welcomes licensed cheesemakers, food businesses and industry professionals, and cheese lovers alike! Here’s how you can be a part of our community of caseophiles and support the hardworking cheese artisans in the Keystone state. Note: annual dues are based on the calendar year starting January 1.
For Cheesemakers
Licensed cheesemakers in and around Pennsylvania can join the Guild with a Cheesemaker Membership.
The Cheesemaker Membership includes:
- Listing on our Cheese Map of PA and searchable member database
- Quarterly newsletter with industry updates and opportunities
- Educational workshops to help you improve your craft and grow your business
- Members-only marketing resources, research data, and media
- Access to networking events and a supportive community of fellow cheese professionals
- Voting rights in organizational meetings to help shape Guild activities and the ability to run for a seat on the Guild’s board of directors
Annual dues: $100
For Industry
Are you a cheesemonger, chef, restaurateur, buyer, retailer, distributor, food educator, or other industry stakeholder? If you work with cheese, our Industry Membership is for you.
The Industry Membership includes:
- Access to networking events and a supportive community of fellow cheese professionals
- Discounts for educational opportunities and workshops
- Quarterly newsletter with industry updates and opportunities
- Guild logo signage and merchandise for your business
- One staff training per year taught by a Guild cheesemaker
- Farm visits and hands-on learning opportunities with cheesemakers (currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic)
- Listing on our Cheese Map of PA and searchable member database
Annual dues: $150
For Enthusiasts
Licensed cheesemakers in and around Pennsylvania can join the Guild with a Cheesemaker Membership.
The Enthusiasts Membership includes:
- Access to Meet the Cheesemaker events
- Discounts for Guild cheese tastings and educational workshops
- Quarterly educational newsletter to help you live your best cheese life
- The opportunity to meaningfully support your local cheese community
Annual dues: $25
